You may discuss our cover story of the day in this thread....
Test Drive:
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Turbo Convertible

2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT Turbo ConvertibleWith 230 horsepower from its turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the PT Cruiser GT convertible "is a surprisingly fleet-footed vehicle, and a great highway cruiser," says Editor, Greg Wilson. With the top down, "wind buffeting in the front seats is minimal..but rear passengers will have a bad hair day."  Biggest complaint? Poor rear visibility, top up or down.      More...

Still one of the ugliest cars around. Even uglier than a regular PT cruiser. No thanks.

When it first came out, I admit to being quite smitten with the PT styling, etc. and felt that Chrylser missed the boat in not bringing out a performance version more quickly. Then they introduced the convertible and I thought "you gotta be kidding". One of the PT's fortes is the fact that there are so many cargo carrying options, but I hafta admit that the PT convertible is one hugely ugly vehicle. In fact, I am starting to get very tired of the entire PT thing. I wonder why GM really put out the HHR? Did they want to compete with what is becoming one of the most tired, and ugly north american vehicles on the road???

Hmmmmm.

And I thought the Nissan 350Z convertible had an ugly rear end....this is MUCH worse.  :P

I thought that the PT Barnum Cruiser was ugly when it came out, and it certainly has NOT improved with age.  :P

I quite like the regular PT but the convertible just doesn't work. I drove one a while back and it was easily the most boring convertible driving experiance ever. Give me a traditional roadster experiance!

I don't know about the rest of you, but there's a blue PT droptop running around in my area and when I first saw the thing....it looked like a basket.
